Overview

Contact Search finds net-new target prospects for the selected client and saves qualified matches into their Contacts. Build an ideal-customer profile with the filters on the left, run the search, review the matches, then add them to the client's contact pool. The monthly allowance counts only net-new contacts returned by a client search. Previously pulled identities are automatically suppressed for the selected client, so the results and recent-run history show what was new versus suppressed.

How to use this page

  1. Select the client and check the allowance

Pick the client in the top-right switcher. The allowance card shows how many contacts remain this month, how many are used of the limit, and when it renews. For client searches, the used and remaining values change by the number of net-new contacts returned, not by the later Add to Contacts click.

  2. Name the search and set how many to find

Give the search a list name so it is easy to recognize later, then set the number of contacts to find. The default is 1,000; for clients it is capped at the remaining monthly allowance. Pressing Enter in the count field starts the search. The requested number is a ceiling, so suppression or the available matching data can leave fewer net-new rows.

  3. Build the targeting filters

Add job titles to include or exclude, seniority and functional levels, locations and cities (or exclusions), email status, company domains, industries to include or exclude, company keywords, size, revenue range, and funding stage. Type into a chip field and press Enter to add each value.

  4. Run the search

Click Search. The button shows a spinner and reads Searching while the run works, and large searches can take several minutes. Results appear in a table with name, title, email, mobile, LinkedIn, location, and company firmographics. When it finishes, the results appear on the right. The search removes identities already accepted by an earlier search for this client, identities already in the client contact pool, and duplicates within the same run before showing the net-new results.

  5. Review and add to Contacts

Scan the matches, then click Add to Contacts to save them into the client's contact pool. A toast confirms success or reports a problem. The search has already counted the net-new results against the client allowance. Add to Contacts saves those results without consuming a second allowance amount, so confirm the targeting looks right before saving. Download CSV exports the results without using extra allowance.

  6. Reuse recent searches

The Recent runs list shows past searches with their file name, status, and count. You can add a past run's results to Contacts or download its CSV from there, or reload its filters to refine and run again. Recent runs can reload the filters and results. Each completed row shows its net-new count, and a suppressed count when earlier pulls were removed.

What the buttons do

List name
Labels the search so it is recognizable in Recent runs.
Number of contacts to find
Sets how many prospects to pull. Default 1,000; clients are capped at the remaining allowance. Press Enter here to start the search.
Chip filters
Title, seniority, location, industry, keyword, size, revenue, and funding filters. Press Enter to add each value.
Search
Runs the prospect search with the configured filters. Shows a spinner and reads Searching while it works.
Add to Contacts
Saves the current net-new matches into the selected client’s Contacts. The search allowance was already counted from net-new results, so this action does not charge the same rows again.
Download CSV
Exports the results as a CSV. Does not use extra allowance; a failed download shows an error toast.
Recent runs
Lists the latest searches. Load restores filters or results, Add saves a completed result set, CSV downloads it, and the Contacts column shows new and suppressed counts.
Net-new result count
The results heading counts contacts that survived the client suppression check and are new for this client. It does not include previously pulled contacts.
Suppressed count (Recent runs)
The Contacts column in Recent searches shows the net-new count and, when applicable, how many previously pulled contacts were suppressed for this client.

Common questions

Yes, for client searches the allowance counts net-new contacts when the search completes. It does not count previously pulled or duplicate identities, and Add to Contacts does not charge the same results again. Employees do not consume a client allowance.
For clients, the requested count is limited to the contacts remaining in this month’s allowance. The final result can be lower when prior search results, existing Contacts, same-run duplicates, or the available matching data are suppressed.
Added prospects land in the selected client's Contacts (Contacts > Manage), ready to enroll into a campaign.
Yes. Larger searches take longer to build. The Search button reads Searching while it runs, and you can leave and check Recent runs later.
Suppression is scoped to the selected client and checks identities from earlier accepted Contact Search results and the client’s existing Contacts. Same-run duplicates are removed too, so a person already pulled for this client does not appear as a new result again.
New is the number of contacts that survived suppression and are available in that run’s results. Suppressed is the number of previously pulled or duplicate contacts removed before the run was saved. Only the net-new count is shown in the results table and counted toward a client allowance.
